Black History Month
Keeping the Momentum Going
Black History Month is always a significant time for us at With Insight. While it brings a welcome focus to Black histories, experiences and contributions, it also important to us to think about how we keep the momentum going beyond October.
From the stories that we tell, to the activities that we deliver and the opportunities that we make possible, we continue to support our young people all year round. We invite you to join us.
Honouring Our Community
This year, we’re highlighting three ways that individuals and organisations can support the young people we work with: Time, Talent and Treasure.
-
Your time can make an enormous difference.
Our volunteers bring valuable additional capacity across event planning, project delivery and research, to name just a few areas.
This kind of behind-the-scenes support enables a small organisation like ours to do more – and do it well. We’re hugely grateful to everyone who gives their time and expertise to help us move our work forward.
If you have some time to spare and would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
-
We’re always hugely appreciative of those who are willing to share their expertise with our students.
Whether it’s running a workshop, sharing insights about your career, reviewing a CV, joining a mentoring programme or simply being willing to answer a student’s questions, your professional experience can open up possibilities that students may not otherwise have access to.
If you have skills or knowledge that you think could benefit With Insight or our students, please get in touch.
-
And, finally, donations help us turn opportunities into reality.
We were only able to fund the updated Elevate programme thanks to the generous support we received through our 10 from 1000 fundraising campaign.
Every contribution helps us reach more young people and provide the mentoring, insight and support they need to navigate education and the world of work.
