We’re growing and need an extra pair of hands to assist with the smooth running of our charity operations and programmes.

  • In this volunteering opportunity, you will help ensure that the charity approaches people management in a fair, supportive and legally compliant way.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review and develop mandatory HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment law and best practice

    • Ensure employment contracts, role descriptions and HR documentation are current and fit for purpose

    • Provide guidance on handling sensitive people issues with consistency, care and professionalism

    This role will be ideal for those that meet the following criteria:

    • An experienced HR professional (e.g. CIPD qualified or equivalent experience)

    • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

    • Able to translate HR requirements into practical, proportionate solutions for a small but growing charity

    • Values-driven, empathetic and aligned with a supportive, developmental approach to people management

  • In this volunteering opportunity you will be supporting the Marketing with:

    • Ideate engaging, on-brand content specifically tailored for Instagram and TikTok (Reels, Stories, and short-form videos)

    • Develop and implement a content calendar that aligns with our organisational goals and key campaigns

    • Monitor, analyse, and report on social media metrics, providing insights on engagement, reach, and follower growth

    • Increase our visibility and provide recommendations for improving our social media strategy based on analytics

    We're looking for someone with proven experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok, ideally with examples of work that drove sign-ups or applications. You should understand social media analytics and be able to translate data into actionable insights. Creativity, knowledge of current trends, and ability to work independently are essential. Experience with Canva or video editing tools is a plus.
