Uyi, Insight2Uni Mentor

Uyi, an enthusiastic mentor in the Insight2Uni programme, joined with a powerful vision for community transformation through education. With particular focus on increasing African and Caribbean representation in higher education, especially in STEM and law, Uyi sees mentoring as a catalyst for broader social change. He reflects, drawing from his own experience of wishing he'd had a university mentor during his sixth form years. His mentoring relationship with Maddie, Serge, and Emanuel became a monthly highlight, watching them develop independence in their university research and course selections.
